A genuine “40-year old startup,” Cambridge Systematics is one of the most advanced and forward-looking transportation planning and analysis companies in the world. Their identity, which was the brand equivalent of basement rec room paneling did not tell that story. Their new logo and its derivatives—part chessboard, part road, part origami bird—and wordmark form the foundation of a new brand that is dynamic, bright, and flexible. Along with the website, photography, and printed and digital corporate branded materials, we catapulted them out of the knotty pine basement and into the future.
